Our Staff

Our Soar Truckee instructional staff is highly experienced. Our flight instructors and ride pilots have a combined total of many thousands of hours in gliders. We currently have eight flight instructors on staff. Of course not all of them are working on the same days. Our large instructional staff assures that you will be able to get instruction from an experienced instructor according to your needs and schedule.

Whether you desire basic instruction, a flight review, and area checkout, recurrent training or an introduction to cross country flying, Soar Truckee can fill your needs.

Power pilots might consider getting an add-on glider certificate. You’ll have a greater appreciation for the art of flying, and you’ll learn or relearn how to use your feet on the rudder pedals.  Glider pilots make better power pilots… all of our landings are power off! An add-on certificate also counts as a flight review.

Call of come by at your convenience to chat with our instructors.
